'Must tragedies start with the first flush of love,'
It's strange how the smallest decisions can have the biggest effects on our lives. If Ellie-May had followed her heart, rather than her father's preferred choice of a university course in law, then perhaps life would have been very different for her, not to mention those around her! She wouldn't have met Tommy, gotten pregnant and the rest -as they say- would have been history!
This is a story about the good and bad in each of us, a story about how good and bad are balanced and only our choices tip the scales. It is a story about human hang-ups, emotions, shortcomings and failure. It is a story of how the self can lead a person down a steep and winding roads and destroy lives in the process. This is a story which is the essence of all man, the fibre of the ego and the torment of the tortured mind.
